Ahmad Zeividavi – Executive Director
Ahmad is the founder and executive director of House of Omeed. As such, he leads most of the work that goes on here. He and his wife, Dina have two girls. Ahmad plays goalball for the Canadian National Team and he has represented Canada in 2 Paralympic games, world championship, regional championships and numerous international tournaments. Ahmad is passionate about his faith, his family, his ministry, and his Sport. He likes Starbucks Venti Latte and kebab. His favourite Bible passage is Psalm 23.

Dina Sabiri – Family Services Coordinator
Dina, Ahmad’s wife, has been with House of Omeed since the beginning. She has supported Ahmad and helped with much of the organizational side of the centre. Dina likes to read and loves Mediterranean food. She is passionate about God and people. Her favourite Bible verse is John 3:16.

Nadereh Hashemi – Assistant Director
Nadereh has been with House of Omeed since the beginning, serving as the Assistant Director. She and her husband, Farshad, have two sons. Nadereh loves shopping and eating any kind of grilled food. She is passionate about worshipping God. Her favourite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.

Kiana Liu – Outreach Coordinator
Kiana has been with House of Omeed since the beginning, and now serves as Outreach Coordinator. Kiana and her husband, Ray, have been married since May 2019. Though she doesn’t show it, Kiana is a daredevil. She likes to spend time in nature. She loves Tea! She can make and enjoy variety of tea. She is passionate about extending the Kingdom of God and loves to spend time with people. Her favorite Bible passage is 2 Corinthians12:9-10.

Shiva Sharifi – Media & Community Services Liaison
Shiva has been with House of Omeed since 2019, serving in video production and community services. She likes to ride horses and loves cholo kabab. She spends her free time talking with her family back in her home country. Shiva is passionate about pleasing God with her life. Her favourite Bible passage is Matthew 5:3-10.

Farshad Nikjou – Board of Directors
Farshad has been involved at House of Omeed since the beginning. He and his wife, Nadereh, have 2 sons. Farshad is passionate about saving souls and serving people. He enjoys Baghali Polo ba Mahicheh, and would like to travel to Japan someday. Farshad also likes to dirt bike. His favourite Bible character, besides Jesus, is Daniel, because of his impact on different kings and nations during his life. His favourite Bible passage is Philippians 3:10-11.
Randy Hoffmann – Board of Directors
Randy has been involved at House of Omeed since it was founded. He served overseas for 10 years, and has been to over 50 countries. Randy is passionate about the Lord Jesus, the Bible, and discipleship. His favourite food is kabobs. He and his wife, Margo, have 2 sons, one of whom is married. He really enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading theology books, and going on dates with Margo. His favourite Bible character, besides Jesus, is King Josiah, because of his total commitment to the Lord. His favourite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 10:12.
Kevin Schular – Board of Directors
Kevin has been with the House of Omeed since the beginning. In 2023 he started serving as a member of the board. Kevin and his wife, Laura, have been married for 42 years and they currently have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. He loves to fish, travel near the ocean, and eat beef prepared in many different ways. Kevin is passionate about the Great Commission and its priorities, and his favorite Bible verse is Philippians 1:6.
Dan Shackelford – Volunteer
Dan has been at House of Omeed since 2017, serving as a volunteer, teaching English and helping various clients with paperwork. Dan and his wife, Tami, have 3 fun children. Dan loves to travel with his family, play disc golf, and cook and eat smoked meat. He is passionate about Christ. Dan’s favorite Bible passage is Colossians 3:1-4.
